Hold me tight is a book cover redesign, featuring typefaces used as illustrative elements. The goal was to create something that stands out, plays off the book title, and establishes better hierarchy of type within the cover.
Rather than a typical illustration, the letters themselves become abstracted to serve as the visual. Interlocking letters show closeness and connectedness. Flowers show growth, life, and love. The rope and knot is tied to the original cover, but more subtle here.
